In 1958, William T. Kelly and his son Ron opened a luncheonette in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia, serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. With the luncheonette business steadily growing, Bill and Ron decided it was time to move to a better location with more room, but still in the Bustleton area. Kelly's Tavern became a popular place to enjoy Lunch and Dinner, or just a cold beer.

Everything tasted great/fresh and the service was friendly and excellent. The restaurant is clean and well maintained and the menu is filled with great options. Recommended to anyone who enjoys fresh seafood.
This is one classy oldie but goodie restaurant.. from the waitress staff to the owners very personable and helpful.. never had a bad meal there in all of my years.. I can taste the freshness in the deserts.. that was included in his meal the vanilla pudding so good...

Kelly's is simply the best - great seafood at reasonable prices! Great servers, with a unique wooden boat type atmosphere! Great for takeout, too - never takes them more than a 1/2 hour to assemble and cook your order!...
LOVE IT HERE! This is my families go to place. We come here few times a month. The food is amazing and everyone is so nice. Since we come here so much, they really got to know us and always ask about our kids and how we are! It's really family oriented. We usually get the same few waitresses each time and absolutely love them! Highly recommend!
